Children, Trees and Children Again

Look after rowdy kids

For though their branches grow oaken

They’re still tiny twigs

And they might get broken.

Respect the stubborn kids

They were born not to yield.

Their attitude is made

Of mahogany.

Be kind to quiet kids

For those little ones

Are the tender shoots

Of an exotic plant.
